The illegal trafficking of wildlife is now one of the world’s largest criminal industries, with repeated links to terrorism networks. High Target Species such as elephant and rhino are being hunted to extinction. These animals are the most difficult to protect, as poachers go to the most extreme lengths to kill them. Anti-poaching rangers form the first and last line of defence for nature. Without the right training, equipment, management and support they cannot defend the World’s natural heritage for future generations.

Increasing pressure on the world’s natural assets is simply not sustainable. Whilst we understand the big picture, we also understand where we fit in, and that is stopping the haemorrhaging of these resources at the front-lines of the World Wildlife War through the introduction of highly trained Anti-poaching Dog units stopping poachers from entering the protected areas.

Ryder Protection Services Zimbabwe we believe direct action anti-poaching is a vital component of any successful conservation formula where poaching is a threat like as it is in Zimbabwe. Without giving maximum support to the rangers who risk their lives daily to meet this responsibility, then we have little hope for long-term preservation of the natural world.

Armed with our past and current experience we have capacity to train female rangers or assist the rangers on wildlife crime investigations. We are willing and able to deploy our highly trained K-9 unit to any place in Africa.

We have Belgian Malinois, Dutch Shepherds and handlers ready for deployment on anti-poaching mission, our anti-poaching program can be tailor made to suite each and every individual client. Our objective on this initiative is to get our animals out of the kennels and get into the bush to save other animals, and this can only be archived if we join hands with same minded folks.

We have our dogs and handlers already operational in Zambezi Valley. Over and above as part of our package if you happen to hire our dogs and handlers, we will orient your rangers on how the team jointly operate free of charge and full back up support throughout the entire contract. Not only that we will also assist in tactical deployment strategies and formulation of standard operational procedures for the entire unit. “Responding to home grown challenge with a home-grown solution”.
